My name is Grace Armstrong. I'm a wife and
mother of 2 adventurous kids. Together we are on that journey called life. We enjoy traveling and seeking out our latest trill rides together.
My passion for Ride On Toys goes way back, well before I had kids to buy them for. As a teenager I enjoyed off-roading and exploring the California Sierra Nevadas in my Jeep CJ7. That Jeep was my first "Ride Toy" and boy did that toy get me hooked!
Amazon & other "Giants":
The internets first Online Toy Store....
In June of 1996 I started an online toy-store that specialized in Ride on Toys and other Large Playthings. For many years I had the joy of attending enormous Toy Shows all over the country. During that time I became familiar with Toy Vendors from around the world.
The company grew and eventually hit the Fortune 5000 list for fastest growing companies in both 2007 & 2008. My mom oversaw all customer service aspects of the biz and I got the joy of working with my mother for well
over a decade. It is a time
I will cherish always. We
had a blast! Just look...
Yep, that's us on my
husbands then Bombardier
700 Quad. Boy that thing
After a while it became difficult to compete with Amazon and some of the other giants in the toy industry. In 2010 I sold Mobileation to a buyer from Hong Kong who later decided to go another route and ended up handing the company and website back to me. By then the website had changed and suffered some due to the recent change in ownership so instead of trying to rebuild the online toy store presence I decided to share my knowledge and experience in the industry and make a few recommendations based on my knowledge.
AMAZON LINKS: I do make a small profit on purchases you might make at Amazon if you click through and happen to make a purchase.
I truly appreciate you stopping by and having a look around. For me, this keeps Mobileation alive and well and I really enjoy staying up with the latest and greatest toys each year. What can I say? I just love TOYS! Below is the first toy I bought myself after the sale of my company. That's my sweet 68 Camaro Convertible with my sweet daughter there as my co-pilot. So fun! :-)
